Teachers Training - A Specific ApproachTeachers training is provided to educate individuals so that they are able to impart education to children in each and every small village or town. Keeping in mind the welfare of students, some public schools have come up and and have collaborated with some universities to design various strategies to help teachers to benefit their students as much as is possible and shift the focus of teaching towards a student-centered approach. This teachers training is of help equally to both teachers and students through the provision of the best possible education. It provides help to students in the best possible manner. Now, with the availability of more than one teacher in a classroom, students get individual attention and they are able to resolve their issues. These experienced teachers are able to solve specific problems of each and every student in the class. These teachers learn to draw up strategies to approach those students who are not able afford the huge fees of education. Basically, this method to impart teachers training is implemented in some specific schools. These include the schools which have a poor performance and the schools which have a majority of students from underprivileged sections of society. Interviews have been conducted and work done by students has been observed and this has helped to gather data to take an appropriate decision Some factors were recognized through an observation of a teacher's conduct. What does a teacher actually believe in? and other factors that affect a student's performance and behavior have been observed carefully. To check if the process was implemented successfully, the complete gathered data was scrutinized and reviewed. After about three years, positive results came up and it has been found that a majority of the students have been able to clear a test in Writing, Mathematics, and Reading at the State level. All the schools that have been targeted have been given better ratings. Teachers who have been provided training through these programs are able to teach children in villages and due to this, these children are able to live their dream of getting education. Otherwise, it would have been almost impossible for these students to get education. These teachers are able to point out all the weak points of these students and also the improvements in their students and in this manner they are able to take good decisions. Now, these teachers are responsible for the bright future of their students and help them to achieve their professional goals. These teachers are also able to relate to their students more comfortably with their experience and education and are able to understand their behavioral problems The above specific teachers training has been of immense help to teachers and students, especially the students from underpriviledged sections of society. |
